Some years ago, the dangers of being under the influence of alcohol while driving  caused an incalculable amount of casualties on the road. Many public service announcements were produced to discourage drunk driving. Laws were put in place to prevent this dangerous habit from claiming any more lives and finally it seemed as if the roads were safe once again. However, with the current popularity of text messaging, distracted driving due to texting has become the newest danger to plague the roadways.
