My mother in law was involved in a car accident with an older women whom this product could of helped. My mother in law was walking through a parking lot with her daughter when from out of nowhere a car was thrown into reverse and struck my mother in law and dragged her for forty yards before pinning her against a brick wall. As a result she spent a week in the ICU and now suffers from short term memory loss and severe back and leg pain. The cause of this accident was the woman in the car who swore she pressing the brake and the car went by itself, however nothing was mechanically wrong with her vehicle. Maybe if she had a test this entire accident could have been avoided.

My 76 year old father in law was killed in an accident in Jan 2009. The accident was his fault he was making a left turn and pulled out in front of a F250 pickup truck that could not stop, He was killed instantly. His health had been failing and my husband had tried to take the car away from him, but was not able to take away his independence. His death has weighed heavily on husband feeling he was responsible for not taking the car away from his dad. Fortunately the man in the truck sufffered only minor injuries. After a person reaches a certain age they should have to take some sort of test that will test driving skills. This was tragic for our family.
