When I first began driving, I hadn't driven very often and was quite inexperienced particularly in freeway driving. My friends convinced me to drive them all downtown on the freeway. Once the exit was approaching I became concerned that I wasn't in the correct lane to exit so began trying to shift into the lane to my right to make sure I could turn off onto the exit. Unfortunately, I checked my blind spot, but couldn't see all of my blindspot because one of my friend's heads were in the way obstructing my vision. I started to shift lanes as the truck in the lane to my right began to honk to alert me that I was about to side swipe him. Alarmed, I jerked the wheel to the left where I discovered another car. The cars around me must have sped up and out of the way, because after all the wheel-jerking my car began to fishtail left across all four or five lanes of traffic. Once I got to the left shoulder I got out of the car and refused to drive on the freeway any longer. Luckily I managed to not hit a single car, but it was not due any credit to my "skill" as a driver. I still cannot remember the entire incident clearly, but am now driving on the freeway regularly but am much more cautious regarding checking my blindspots prior to shifting lanes. I honestly do not have any idea how I managed to avoid hitting all cars in all lanes of traffic, but I wouldn't want to repeat that scenario again. Thank goodness I was very lucky. Endangering my own life is one thing, but endangering the lives of my friends, family, and those around me is something I wouldn't be able to bear if things had happened differently.

This is a very neat story, unfortunatly i do not think that it is uncommon, many people are driving when they are not quite ready. I beleive several lessons can be learned, dont let your freinds pressure you into doing anything that you do not want to do. Next make sure you are always prepared and know what is around you in life. Luckily she did not hurt anybody.
Thank you so much for your comment i thought it was wonderful.
